Safe question for an AI assistant

Self-Strength Tailored support

A good question for the AI assistant your organisation allows, without names or identifying details.

Many organisations allow an AI assistant, such as Microsoft Copilot. A well-framed question gets a useful answer. Describe the situation, not the person: no names, team names, health details or anything else that could identify someone. Check your organisation's policy on AI tools first.

When to use it

  • My situation is not listed

Tip

An AI assistant is a thinking aid. It does not diagnose, and it does not replace the real conversation. Health information is special category data under UK GDPR, so leave it out.

What you fill in

  • What do you want help with?
  • The situation
  • What do you want to achieve?
  • I have left out names and identifying details

The tool runs in your browser. Nothing you type is saved or sent anywhere.

I am a line manager and would like to think through a situation with a team member. I am deliberately not giving any names or personal details. The situation: I have a conversation coming up with a team member about their working arrangements (fixed office days and adjusted working hours). In an earlier conversation I noticed a lot of tension, even before we got to the content. What I want to achieve: for the conversation to feel calm and safe. Help me write a short invitation and agenda that feel calm: start with what is fixed, say what kind of conversation it is and share the questions in advance. Also give me two or three opening sentences I could use. Please use a strengths-based, neuro-inclusive approach: look at how this person works best and what the work environment can change, rather than at what might be wrong with them. Give me concrete sentences I can use.
