Conversation notes
Predictability-Strength Conversations
Agreements in black and white: who, what, when.
An agreement that only exists in someone's head does not really exist. Short notes within a day put in black and white what was agreed: who does what, and by when. That gives you both something to hold on to, even if you later remember it differently.
Tip
Notes are about agreements on the work. Do not include diagnoses or health information: that does not belong in a personnel file, and you do not need it to make good agreements. Medical matters are for occupational health or their GP.

Hi Tom,
Here are the agreements from our conversation on Tuesday 17 November about your working agreements on meetings and tasks.
What we discussed:
• The meetings on Tuesday and Thursday, spread across the day
• Tasks that come in verbally
• What is going well: your analysis of customer queries
What we agreed:
• Olivia moves the meetings together onto Tuesday morning from 1 December
• From Monday 23 November you get tasks in a short email, with what counts as finished and by when (Olivia)
• Tom lets Olivia know by Friday if a task is unclear
What stays the same: Your working-from-home days, your fixed desk and your working hours stay the same.
We will look together at whether it is working on Tuesday 15 December at 10:00.
Does this match what you heard? Let me know if anything is missing or different, and I will update it.
Best wishes,
Olivia
